Please Note Lodge is Closed till 7/23 due to Covid-19

To my fellow Moose members. Here we are summer is coming to an end, it’s hard to believe it goes so fast.
November is Veterans month and the 11th is Veterans Day. Thank you to our military and their families. To honor our Veterans a made to order breakfast will be held at the Lodge on Saturday, November 7th. This will be free to all of our Veterans.
It’s also the time of the year to think about Thanksgiving and getting together with family and friends. I hope the deer hunters get their big bucks.
By the time you get this letter the $10.00 raffle will be done. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. A big thanks to everyone who helped out and donated for the bucket raffles.
Thank you to Scott Hannan for the wonderful chicken dinner for the fundraiser, he always goes above and beyond.
I hope everyone stays healthy during this Covid—19 pandemic.
Your Governor
Bob Britz

It’s me your SENIOR REGENT again dropping a line
Hello everyone!!! I hope this newsletter finds everyone safe and well! Fall is a beautiful time of the year. Winter is coming and so are the holidays. Time sure seems to fly lately. Everyone seems to be really busy. Last month we had a fundraiser at the Haunted House. Thank you to the ladies who helped sell refreshments and to those that sold tickets for admission. The WOTM put on an absolutely FABULOUS breakfast on Sunday, Sep 27 for those that came to help tear down the haunted house and get stuff put away. It was just delicious. The Haunted House itself was a HUGE success. Members worked very hard to get it up and running. The guides and people staffing it were incredible. Thank you for donating your time to help make it the success it was. Looking forward to next year. With fall here Winter will be right behind it, which brings us to the Children’s Christmas at the Lodge on Dec 12. Present wrapping will be done at our meeting on Dec 7th @ 5:00. There is a form to fill out in the newsletter with your child’s information on it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get this filled out and submitted ASAP. The requested deadline is Nov 28th If you can fill it out earlier it would be appreciated. With COVID the mail seems to be running slow so for all presents to be delivered by Santa we would like as much time as we can to get them together. Please submit the forms to the WOTM mailbox located inside the lodge or mail to WOTM PO BOX 354 Marinette, WI 54143. The sooner the better. We are asking for baked good donations for the Christmas party to be INDIVIDUALLY wrapped and sealed. (cookies) This is a great time to join or to continue to be a part of the WOTM. I am very excited to be part of this organization. The ladies are great, kind, considerate, and Always willing to help anyone out or pitch in where needed to get the job done! Again if you have any ideas for fundraisers, or would like to help at any, please feel free to contact me. We are always looking for new ideas and volunteers to help at the fundraisers we currently do. The November meetings are Nov 2 @ 5:30 for the board meeting and @6:00 for a regular meeting, Nov 16 will be @ 6:00.
I want to congratulate Beth Klienke for being the Moosette of the month for November!! THANK YOU for organizing craft days, decorating the tables for fathers day, organizing the bean bag toss tournaments, and handing out the gift certificates for the WOTM. You are greatly appreciated. Thank you again!!
That’s about it for now. As a reminder Please get the children’s Christmas forms filled out and turned in AS SOON AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. Goodbye till next month! Be safe everyone
