Well, fall is officially here and soon we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving with our family. The past two months have been an eye opener for me with the loss of my brother, or I should say my best friend, so this year while you’re celebrating the holidays with your families let them know that you care and love them because who knows what the future has for us. After all, we are all family. I hope that fun was had by all at the $10.00 raffle. Congratulations to all that won money and fantastic prizes. Thank You to all who volunteered and helped make this a great event. For those who don’t know we had a stand out representation at the State Cornhole tournament. We placed 1st, 2nd and 4th. Wow!! Congratulations to all the teams that took time from their busy schedule to represent Marinette Moose 2327. What a super meal that was put on for the Volunteer dinner. A big thank you to Lori Hoheneder for all the years that she has taken time to make this lodge as great as it is. Don’t forget that the cradle fund is going on now, eve-ry little bit helps the children at Mooseheart. For those who didn’t make it to the Mexican dinner night you missed a great meal. Rumor has it there’s another one in the works. Yummy! Talk about volunteers, we are going to be needing some for the Gun Show on January 20th and the Radar Run in February. There’s tickets for sale for the trip to New Orleans and also for the Hen-ry rifles. Just a reminder that there is a District meeting on November 10th in Green Bay. If you have never been to one come on out and see what it’s all about. We all should make it our mission to try to show potential members and ones that are no longer members what they’re missing. To all of our hunters out there, have a safe and fun season.
