Well February is here already Super Bowl, Valentines Day and hopefully Mr. Groundhog will give us good news. The New Years eve dinner was a big hit as always. A big thank you to all who made it a success. Also Thank You to all who bought tickets for the trip to New Orleans. This money is being used for our Safe Surfin Group that does the child I.D. and now our Silver I.D. All this couldn’t be done without the hard work from our Safe Surfin chairperson Barb Van De Hie. Thank you! Campers don’t forget to send your deposit in along with a signed copy of the rules. At the State Board meeting in December it was announced that the Supreme Governor will visit Wisconsin in April. Details on Page 5. The Rod & Gun Club is happy to announce that the Gun & Knife show was a success. All the tables were rented out to dealers. Lots of people looking at all great displays that were there. The money generated from this event was for the Marinette High School Fishing and Trap Shooting Clubs. A big shout to all that volunteered to make this possible. I’m sure there will be more in the future. Don’t forget to get your tickets for the Sweethearts Dinner. Always great food so the tickets go fast. Remember that February 16th is the Radar Run. If you have never been to this before I highly recommend you should see the snow machines and A.T.V.’s that come and the speeds that they do. I would personally like to thank Brad and Amy Boivin for the work they do for Youth Awareness. No one realizes the time and effort that goes into this program. If you know of a child who would like to do this see Brad or Amy. As I say that if you want to be a Moose on a Mission and get involved in one of our programs and events or start one of your own JUST ASK! Also if you know anyone who would like to be part of our team or come back to the team sign them up .
