Well, fall is in the air now that it’s October. When driving we all need to watch out for the children that are going to and from school. The car show was a great event again. Sometimes in life you get thrown a curve and this year I had to miss it due to an emergency. I can’t thank every-one that volunteered to help enough. I’m proud to call each one of you my fraternal brothers and sisters. What a great meal that was put on by the 1 & 1/2 Italian dinner. Thanks to every-one that came. I will relay anything new that comes up at the fall convention. The cowboy and cowgirl night that was held in the campground was fun! A big thank you to all that helped put this on. The tickets for the $10.00 raffle that’s being held this month are now on sale at the lodge. Also the Rod and Gun club has their Henery rifle tickets on sale. The Safe Surfin group is having a raffle for a trip for 2 to New Orleans with many attractions once you are there. When you see Rodney tell him how great it looks around the lodge and coming down to the lodge. He busted his tail off to make this lodge look like it does. There will be a Rod & Gun club meeting the first Sunday in October at 2:00 p.m. We’ll be talking about the gun show on Jan-uary 20. As you see at this lodge there is always something going on so remember the motto this year – Moose On A Mission – and bring someone out and who knows, maybe they want to be a part of this organization. Remember that if you sign up 3 members the lodge will pay your dues.
